Work EnvironmentAs a Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center, you will operate in an onsite clinical setting equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and tools designed to facilitate effective therapy. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical capabilities including strength, mobility, and overall function.
Employ advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to identify treatment areas and develop targeted rehabilitation plans.
Create individualized therapy programs that include a variety of treatment options such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to each patient's needs.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy protocols as necessary to maximize recovery and optimize outcomes.
Lead therapeutic sessions while utilizing various modalities—such as ultrasound therapy and electrical stimulation—to alleviate pain and promote healing.
Educate patients and their families on strategies for injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and personalized home exercise regimens.
Effectively communicate patient progress and rehabilitation strategies with the entire healthcare team to ensure an integrated approach to care.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring the storage and maintenance of therapy equipment adhere to safety regulations.
Patient Population / Client FocusOur facility primarily serves a diverse patient population ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults dealing with chronic conditions such as arthritis or post-surgical rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients across all age groups, adapting your therapeutic techniques to accommodate various recovery journeys.
QualificationsA valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada is mandatory.
A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
Demonstrable experience executing effective treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong patient relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.
The ability to analyze patient data and develop appropriate, patient-specific treatment strategies through critical thinking.
A genuine passion for supporting and guiding patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously while maintaining high standards of care.
Preferred ExperienceA minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
Experience with modern rehabilitation tools and technology, including software for patient management and evaluation.
Background in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
