This is a hands-on opportunity to gain diverse experience across multiple sites while supporting the important work of Maine's largest Federally Qualified Health Center. Find out: Schedule: Part-Time (Minimum 20 hours/week) or up to Full-Time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, Schedule TBD (NOTE: This position requires travel to all PCHC sites. Facility vehicle provided for this purpose.) Highlights of the position: Demonstrate kindness and respect while maintaining professional boundaries with all clients, vendors, and staff. Ensure all work meets required codes, permits, safety regulations, and specifications. Maintain and improve PCHC facilities through construction, renovation, alteration, and repair projects, with a strong focus on quality. Tasks include but are not limited to: Carpentry (e.g., walls, doors, windows). General facilities maintenance. Painting and finishing projects. Stay aware of building conditions and proactively report issues that need attention. Help maintain quality assurance standards and compliance. Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and enhance the client experience. Be a champion for excellent customer service and safe, effective operations. Having a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required.
