Academic hospital in Brooklyn is looking to fill a Gastroenterology role with teaching fellows and community based patients. This is an exciting employed opportunity with salary + quality bonuses Job Function: Evaluate and diagnose patients with digestive and gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. Develop treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow-up care. Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies. Educate patients and family members about the diagnosis and treatment process. Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows and medicine residents assigned to the gastroenterology and hepatology service. Provide weekend and evening call coverage for gastroenterology services.
