Our client in California is seeking an OB/GYN for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting Jan. 5, 2026. This role involves managing high and low-risk deliveries, c-sections, ultrasounds, and some gynecological surgeries. Shifts follow a 24-hour schedule from 9:30 AM to 9:30 AM, including remote review of fetal tracings. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Jan. 5, 2026 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: OB/GYN Schedule : 24-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 9:30 AM Responsibilities and Duties Handle high and low-risk deliveries and c-sections Perform routine ultrasounds and specific gynecological surgeries Review fetal tracings remotely Manage IUD placements, cystoscopies, colposcopies, and cryosurgeries Conduct follow-up visits with patients Additional Information Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Required to manage complex cases in a rural setting Valid California medical license required Certifications needed: ACLS, BLS, PALS EMR system in use: e-MD Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
