This role offers a chance to practice in a supportive environment with a diverse range of cases.Key DetailsStart Date: January 6, 2025Schedule:12-hour shifts, 36 hours per weekVariable schedule covering clinic, call, and hospital settingsCoverage Needs: Due to short staffing, youll join a team of two other OB/GYNs and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and other healthcare professionals.Duration: Open-ended locum tenens position with potential for a locum-to-perm transition.ResponsibilitiesObstetrics:Manage both low-risk and high-risk pregnanciesPerform routine and complex labor and delivery procedures, including C-sections, VBACs, and repairs of lacerationsGynecology:Conduct office procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, and cryosurgeryPerform surgical gynecology procedures as neededCollaborate with a skilled team, including RNs, Medical Assistants, and front-desk staff, supported by on-site lab and ultrasound services.RequirementsBoard Certification in OB/GYNActive Michigan medical licenseCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsProficiency in EPIC EMR system preferredPerksTrauma Level 2 facility with robust resourcesCompetitive rates, including hourly and daily rates for clinic, surgery, and on-call servicesOpportunity to transition into a permanent role with fee reductions based on hours workedCredentialingEstimated timeframe: 90 daysBackground checks required (not reimbursed)Ready to make a difference while advancing your career?
