WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This role will be working as part of Supply Chain and Planning Technology (SCPT) Global Technology organization. Within the organization this role will be part of Nike Global Transportation Planning and Optimization team .

We serve Nike Transportation globally which is responsible for building next generation solutions for Transportation planning and optimization capabilities across the globe. This includes managing Inbound and Outbound transportation network requirements, and produce executable shipments based on business constraints and requirements. Our solutions bridge gaps between internal and external stakeholders to create a shipment that are ready for execution and serve us cost, convenience, service and sustainable benefits with high quality. We have a vision to provide Nike the ability to solve complex supply chain problems by building solutions or leveraging Transportation Management systems to do it for us.

Lead Product Manager plays an integral part of the Global Technology team as Nike is focused on the Supply chain strategy.

This role will be working closely with Global transportation business and technology teams, Global Product Managers located in WHQ, EHQ, ITC, cross-functional partnering teams as well as with engineering teams daily.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek a visionary Lead Product Manager with a passion for transportation and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross functional teams. We are looking for someone driven by data and insights, with a focus on delivering an ultimate consumer experience. Strong leadership, communication, with experience forming alliances and bringing together multiple partners to execute on a common mission. A deep knowledge of retail trends and Nike's brand values will set you apart.

We're looking for someone with 8+ years of experience in Product Management and clearly demonstrated these skills:
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) applications like Blue Yonder, Centiro, Uber Freight etc. is a must.
  • Deep understanding of Inbound, Outbound Order Ingest, SHipment Plan and Load Tendering flows
  • Experience working on Cloud platform with API knowledge is a good to have.
  • Strong Analytical and Data Visualization Skills
  • Great business acumen and communication skills
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience owning experiences and platforms implemented on AWS Cloud, micros services architecture, domain event architecture.
  • Experience with Agile tools, confluence, Splunk, Miro/lucid chart, SQL, Tableau is a plus.
  • Validated ability to adapt to changing needs, processes, and ambiguity.
  • Strong meeting and work session facilitation skills
  • Solid grasp on Design Thinking Concepts and Design Leadership
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As a Lead Product Manager for Nike Transportation,
  • This Role will focus on defining scalable and sustainable transportation solutions, and implementing feedback mechanisms to continuously improve consumer satisfaction.
  • Define and drive the roadmap and strategies to ensure it aligned with Nike's CSR and AOP.
  • Be an advocate of solving the right problems for our supply chain stakeholders as well as Nike customers and consumers.
  • Execute the business product roadmap, prioritizing and planning the features based on the needs of the business.
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance criteria and be the owner of the backlog.
  • Partner with engineering on design solutions and architectural decisions and advocate the technical directions and evaluate decisions and their impact on the business functionalities.
  • Work efficiently in Agile environment, regularly validate the completed stories and check with the business to ensure it meets business product expectation.
  • Track product features, performance metrics to ensure that the product is meeting or exceeding the targets, pivot the product roadmap direction as needed.
  • Track value drops delivered, product adoption, and execution against the end-to-end roadmap.
  • Great product sense and communicate effectively both verbally and written in a variety of settings and tailor communications to the target audience.
  • Influence others through optimism, self-assurance, and fact-based recommendations.
