Patient Referrals: Identify and refer patients to appropriate specialists based on the nature of ailments and patient health needs. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics Professional Ethics: Adherence to AOA or AMA code of ethics. Medical Knowledge: Knowledge of general medical coding and related information. Compliance and Safety: Compliance with State and Federal Regulations and Safety Protocols. Knowledge of patient privacy (HIPAA) and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Computer Literacy: Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite) and accurate data entry skills. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, including effective listening. Strong interpersonal skills for patient engagement. Team Collaboration: Ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility: Flexibility to accept additional duties for facility needs. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: Degree from an approved medical school (D.O. or M.D.) with an approved residency. Current Pennsylvania medical license required. Two to five years or more of practicing experience preferred. Physical Demands The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, hand usage, reaching, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
