A health services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensedChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their growing Inpatient team in the Bronx.In this role, theChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for theevaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients under 18 years of age whose primary diagnosis is a psychiatric disorder.About the Opportunity:Start Date:ASAPSchedule:Saturday and SundayHours:8:30am to 10:30pm (28 hours a week)Setting:InpatientResponsibilities:TheChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for:Admission and discharge of patients, including psychiatric examination, evaluation and assessmentFacilitatinggroup/family education and therapyOrdering suicide precautionsProvidingtreatment of children and adolescents, including individual, supportive, behavioral, cognitive and insight oriented therapyOrdering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providersPerforming first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissionsPerformingother duties, as neededQualifications:1+ year of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychiatry after fellowshipLicensed to practice in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible Certified inChild & Adolescent PsychiatryValid National Provider Identification Number (NPI)Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number)Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programsYour privacy is important to us.
