Job Summary and QualificationsThe Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) works in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting providing a wide-range of treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. You will utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment such as masks, tents and incubators. The patient population may range from newborn to geriatric. You will educate patients of treatments, support groups and other available programs.
- You will deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
- You will measure ventilator volumes, pressures and blood gas analysis.
- You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.
- You will performs a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Vocational School Graduate

Our hospital is an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. We offer two off-site ERs in Palm Beach Gardens and West Boynton Beach. They provide the same emergency treatment for adults and children. We are located in the city of Atlantis. We are near the coastal cities of Lake Worth and Boynton Beach.
