A facility located near Marion, NC, is in need of a skilled and dedicated physician to join their team on a long-term basis. Position Highlights: Start Date: January 6, 2025Duration: Ongoing, with the potential for a long-term engagement.Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours only no call responsibilities.Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatric unit with assigned patient rounding.Patients Per Shift: 8-12 patients per day.Bed Capacity: 33 beds in the psychiatric department. Requirements: Board Certification: Active board certification in psychiatry is required.Licensure: Must hold an active North Carolina medical license.Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.Credentialing: Streamlined credentialing process with an estimated timeframe of 30 days. Practice Details: Provide care to patients with various psychiatric conditions, including:Anxiety and affective disordersPsychotic and personality disordersOrganic disorders and moreInvolvement in treatment techniques such as pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy.No outpatient responsibilities. Support and Facility Features: Adequate support staff, including registered nurses, medical assistants, and advanced practice providers.Temporary privileges are available to expedite your start.Facility is not stroke-certified and does not require teaching or supervision of residents.
