POSITION SUMMARY:

Markets products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data; able to make recommendations based on data
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipts.
  • Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information.
  • Assist in meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; developing schedules and assignments; and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; and reading trade publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office platform, Internet, and all Social Networking Media.

Marketing Coordinator Skills and Qualifications:

Market Segmentation, Marketing Research, Coordination, Project Management, Reporting Research Results, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning, Financial Skills, Online Analytics, SEO, Google AdWords,

Ad Agency experience, print background and product-based marketing a plus

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized - strong attention to detail and follow-up.

Compensation - D.O.E

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
