We are seeking part-time waitress / waiter / server and hands-on Cook to join our team

Kitchen Team: You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
  • Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
  • Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in teams

Server Team:

Responsibilities:

  • Serve food and beverages to guests
  • Explain to guests about menu items
  • Clean and prepare the dining areas
  • Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
  • Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

  • Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Must obtain Food Handlers Certificate after hired

Other must-try dishes are House Pan Roast, Cioppino, and Shrimp Diablo.

We cook entrees individually with unique jacketed steam kettles that use high-pressure steam to heat the cooking kettles. This indirect heating method prevents food from overcooking easily, thus allowing us to make dishes with consistent perfection.
