The ideal candidate will have the capacity to directly address challenges, effect change, and thrive in an accountability driven environment. You will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that you are both safe and operating efficiently. You should be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis in order to highlight areas for improvement. You also should be comfortable ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at once.

This position supports all departments by keeping production equipment operating efficiently and ensures Company facilities are maintained to Company standards.

Your Essential Functions:

  • Performs / oversees that the following duties are completed in a safe manner:
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies.
  • Interact in a professional manner with other employees/customers.
  • Work overtime as necessary.
  • Give communication and direction to Maintenance Staff.
  • Lead as necessary to ensure supervision and equipment maintenance is adequately provided on a daily basis.
  • Conduct safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the production equipment.
  • Instruct personnel in equipment start-up procedures and machine operation.
  • Purchase service components used in the repair or preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure the use of competent companies for contract work.
  • Analyze equipment failures, determine cause(s), and make necessary adjustments for repairs.
  • Seek new technologies and automation opportunities in lowering the overall cost of manufacturing.
  • Conduct planning and estimations for capital projects. Write ARFs.
  • Manage and track project progress.
  • Ensure Company facilities, including buildings and grounds, are maintained to Company standards.
  • Responsible for facilities maintenance.
  • Ensure mechanical and electrical maintenance of facility is preformed, as needed.
  • Ensure that scheduled Preventative Maintenance is conducted and documented as outlined by Company Policy.

Your Educational/Training Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4 year degree and/or Trade School completion preferred
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Five or more years of experience in maintenance, in a manufacturing environment.
  • Three or more years of experience in a supervisor/management position.

Your Experience Requirements:

  • This position requires the knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics (PLC), carpentry, welding, machining, and fabricating. Certifications in these areas are a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in trouble shooting the before listed categories. Stamping equipment maintenance experience preferred.
  • Candidate should be able to train personnel in areas of deficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
