Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Real Estate Closing Escrow Processor plays a key role in the real estate transaction process by ensuring that all necessary documents, payments, and legal requirements are completed accurately and on time. This position involves coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, title agents, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate the closing of real estate transactions. The Escrow Processor is responsible for managing all aspects of the escrow process from initiation to the final closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Open, maintain, and manage escrow accounts for each transaction.
- Ensure that all funds are accurately deposited, and proper documentation is provided.
- Verify that all conditions of the escrow agreement are met before funds are disbursed.
- Prepare and review closing documents such as deeds, closing statements, and title reports.
- Ensure all documents comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with title companies to obtain necessary title commitments and insurance.
- Act as a liaison between the buyer, seller, lender, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all parties are informed of deadlines and required actions.
- Address any issues or concerns raised during the closing process and work to resolve them promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in escrow processing, real estate, or a related field. Previous experience in real estate closings, title processing, or escrow services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of escrow processes, closing documents, and real estate transactions.
- Proficiency in using escrow and real estate management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
