Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Support the implementation of Release Management at a large organization
- Support key customers (Release Management Owner and Release Manager) with tactical release management-related activities as directed
- Facilitate and coordinate release management implementation activities
- Coordinate/Track the assembly of key release management inputs (e.g., production assets, approved initiatives, current release plans, release strategy, CMDB currency)
- Assist in educating customers/stakeholders regarding Release Management
- Perform the Release Management Lead role (e.g., Assist with Strategy Definition, the Bundling and Slotting of Releases, the Monitoring and Oversight of Releases, the Installation of Releases, and Release Metrics and Reporting)
- Support tactical ad-hoc release management-related requests
- Work independently and produce high quality deliverables
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ technical delivery experience (e.g., in a project manager, project coordinator, technical lead, and/or release lead role)
- Ability to lead teams through the Systems/Software Development Life Cycle process
- Excellent communications (verbal and written) and facilitation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office project suite (e.g., Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Samples of previous work products helpful
- Detail-oriented performer familiar with working in a highly collaborative environment
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ITIL practices
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (i.e., Ansible)
