Position Summary

This role involves processing transactions, entering and initially analyzing credit applications, researching databases, and making decisions on business financing transactions within your credit authority. Analysts use spreadsheets and software for data analysis, identify trends, develop processes, and write reports. Based on their findings, they can approve or reject credit lines and transactions. Authority levels may vary among employees in this position. The job also involves calling customers to collect overdue accounts, focusing on timely credit transaction origination.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Handles credit application entries and performs preliminary analysis and evaluation of customers' financial conditions for assessing risk and setting appropriate credit limits. Collaborates with sales support, customer service, and accounts receivable to reconcile accounts. Prepares recommendations and makes credit approval decisions for business customers. Ensures credit decisions adhere to policy guidelines.

 

 

Prerequisites & Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or acceptable relevant job experience. Strong verbal, writing, and math skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Computer programming skills such as SQL, InfoLease, Tvalue, or other a plus
