Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, maintains exceptional patient care standards, and is goal-oriented. At Highlight Family Dentistry, our mission is to promote overall health and eradicate dental fear through exceptional care, fostering acceptance and inspiring confidence in every smile.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments.
• Goal Setting: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly productivity and patient care goals.
• Schedule Management: Take ownership of your schedule by efficiently managing appointments, reducing downtime, and ensuring patients' needs are prioritized.
• Maintain an ongoing ASAP List to fill last-minute openings in the schedule and minimize gaps.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and complete all notes within 24 hours.
• Utilize downtime effectively by:
  • Calling patients without scheduled recall appointments.
  • Contacting patients who have canceled or missed appointments to reschedule.
• Educate and promote products and services, including electric toothbrushes and Invisalign, to improve patient care and practice growth.
• Support the practice’s goals by contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
