Position Overview: We're seeking an experienced Marine Electronics Technician to join our dedicated team. You'll work on diverse projects involving installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine electronic systems in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair marine electronics systems including radar, GPS, autopilot, and communication equipment
- Diagnose and resolve complex electronic system issues
- Perform system upgrades and retrofits
- Collaborate with team members on multi-system installations
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in marine electronics installation and repair, If you do not have this please do not apply.
- Strong understanding of DC/AC electrical systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied positions
Preferred Qualifications:
- NMEA certification preferred
- ABYC certification preferred
- Experience with networked marine systems
- Knowledge of current marine electronics brands and protocols
