JOB DESCRIPTION FOR: Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PT/PTA), Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant (OT/COTA)

Working Nurses Homecare is one of the preferred post-acute care partners for hospitals, physicians, and families in the Broward County area. We are seeking experienced Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PT/PTA), Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant (OT/COTA) to expand our super star team within Broward County.

We deliver high-quality care that empowers patients to manage their health at home.
Hospitals and health systems around the Broward County area have partnered with Working Nurses to deliver patient-centered care in the home.
Our Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living.

Requirements:

· Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant (PT/PTA), Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant (OT/COTA) in the state Florida.

· BLS Certification

· Reliable transportation

· Valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance

· Be able to work independently & computer proficient

• Proficient in documentation

· Demonstrate excellent communication skills
