Job Description
FishmanDavid is seeking a talented Audit Senior to join our growing Assurance (Audit) team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and emerging firm. Our industry specializations include manufacturing/distribution, construction, technology, professional services, and staffing.
General responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Conducting financial statement audits, compilations, and reviews, and providing support for consulting engagements.
- Preparing financial statements and disclosures in compliance with GAAP.
- Delivering timely, high-quality services that exceed client expectations.
- Identify problem areas and client issues and propose solutions to managers and partners.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service, quality deliverables, and professional integrity.
- Maintaining active communication to manage expectations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
- CPA license or parts of the CPA exam passed is preferred. A desire to obtain the CPA license is required
- BA/BS degree in Accounting and/or Masters degree in Accounting
- 2–5 years of public accounting experience in assurance/audit, with a preference for candidates experienced in manufacturing, construction, or professional services.
- Detailed working knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS and strong technical accounting skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (CCH Pro fx Engagement considered a plus) and MS Office 365 including Excel and Word
- Experience with any audit methodology software (PPC, Knowledge Coach, CaseWare)
- Exceptional client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Proactive communicator with strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
