CNC Machinist

Job Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings to ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines to manufacture high-precision components, G code and Mazatrol.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Set up and calibrate machines, adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling to meet specific job requirements and problem solve.

• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of finished products to ensure they meet or exceed quality standards.

• Perform minor machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining a tidy workstation.

• Collaborate with team members and assist with other tasks as required to support production goals.

Qualifications:

• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Must be a US citizen.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience operating CNC machines is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and machining techniques.

• Vocational training or apprenticeship in CNC machining or a related field is a plus.

• Strong mechanical and technical skills with an ability to work with CNC machinery.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring products meet strict quality standards.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Solid math skills, including the ability to take measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.

• Basic computer skills, with an understanding of CNC programming software and systems.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with supervisors and team members.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to perform machine troubleshooting.
