Houston Blinds for Less is located in the Houston Metro area. We started as a family owned business 20 years ago and are currently experiencing tremendous growth as one of the areas leading retailers of window treatments. We offer commercial and residential window treatment solutions including plantation shutters, horizontal and vertical blinds, woven woods, cellular shades, Roman shades, solar screens and curtains and drapery.
We are currently seeking a select few motivated Outside Sales / Design Consultant Professionals to join our Team. As an Outside Sales Rep with Houston Blinds for Less, you will present to warm, pre-qualified leads for clients in their home or business generated by our marketing efforts as well as prospecting for new business. Design Consultants at Houston Blinds for Less have tremendous independence to grow their client base while earning generous commissions and bonuses. The Houston market is adding 7,000 new households per week who all need window coverings. The market is growing quickly making this an attractive career in a company offering great income and potential for individual growth. Typical Design consultants make an average $65,000+ annually.
Compensation:
Training Pay
Base Salary Guarantee against commissions.
Commissions based on monthly sales revenue
Monthly & Quarterly Bonus based on total monthly sales revenue
Auto allowance
Vacation pay
Total Compensation for a performing Consultant is expected at $65,000+

Key Responsibilities:
*You are responsible for providing a world class client experience from initial meeting with the client to follow up after installation of the product.
* You will be visiting clients in their homes and offices to discuss their window covering needs and determine the best product that fits those needs.
*You will utilize Houston Blinds for Less’s proven sales process to close residential and commercial leads.
* You are expected to build a network of referral partners to generate additional leads.
* You will cold-call home-owners and commercial prospects to generate additional business.
* Consultation and quoting customer based on their needs using our sales model.
* Flexible work schedule based on appointments.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
Ideal candidates have a passion for design and the home remodeling industry. They are outgoing, ambitious, results oriented, self motivated and resourceful.

* Industry experience not required, although sales experience is preferred.
* Reliable transportation.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
* Must be able to see colors
* Ability to build relationships and establish rapport with customers.
* Self-starter with the ability to work Independently and with minimal supervision
* Great attention to details.
* Must be organized with excellent time management skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
