Job Description Summary: As a Tool and Die Technician, you will work with knowledgeable and dedicated team members to assemble tools and build die sets for the forging process. You will support production, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement of tool performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Replace and certify Die Sets to print before production.
  • Prep press bed for new Die Sets.
  • Clean and rebuild Die Sets to print specifications.
  • Operate hand tools for spotting, grinding, and finishing hardened tools.
  • Collaborate with press operators to enhance tool performance.
  • Anticipate and eliminate potential die and operation problems.
  • Maintain accurate records in a computer-based system.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Organize and manage tool inventories.
  • Adhere to safety and corporate policies.
  • Perform other administrative and assigned duties.

Required Skills and Education:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience with Die Set setups or Press Operations.
  • Proficiency in using calipers, indicators, and other measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret tool and assembly drawings.
  • Knowledge of tool materials and properties.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility with scheduling.
  • Excellent attendance is required.
