About the Role:
The CNC Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of CNC operators, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our production process runs smoothly and efficiently, resulting in high-quality products that meet or exceed our customers' expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years as lead or supervisor in CNC machine shop.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- High school diploma needed.
- Strong Microsoft skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Ability to develop presentations.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging environment.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Knowledge of the ISO 13485
- Strong diligence and organizational skills
- Experience with Blueprint reading/literacy including Geometric Dimensions and Tolerance (GD&T) is preferred.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, prove facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Communication Skills - Must be able to coordinate efforts to produce results.
- Strong leadership Skills -Must be able to promote excellence in all employees and build a winning culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the cnc machining industry
- Knowledge Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience with Six Sigma methodologies desired
- Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of CNC operators and machinists
- Ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards
- Oversee the production process and ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
- Train and develop team members to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are met
- Daily/monthly/annual production efficiency reports
- Approve Weekly employee time sheets
- Purchase and track production tools/materials
- Complete employee training records.
- Production employee performance tracking and annual reviews
- Perform Internal production department audits.
- Liaison between VP of operations and production employees, maintenance staff and other departments, suppliers, and contractors
- Assist in continues improvement program.
- Maintains a positive and respective attitude cooperates with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable.
Skills:
As a CNC Manufacturing Supervisor, you will need to have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage your team. You will also need to have a deep understanding of CNC programming and machining processes, as well as experience with CAD/CAM software and Lean Manufacturing principles. Your ability to collaborate with other departments and implement Six Sigma methodologies will be critical to ensuring that our production process runs smoothly and efficiently. Overall, your skills will be used to ensure that our products meet or exceed our customers' expectations and that our production process is optimized for maximum efficiency.
