A school in the Pala, CA area is actively holding interviews for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position. This is a part-time position for the 2024-2025 school year with guaranteed hours and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications to Apply:- Active SLPA license in California
- Preferred: School-based and/or pediatrics experience
- Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to pre-Kthrough 8th grade students with support from an on-site SLP
- Collect data on students' performance during therapy sessions and share these findings with the supervising SLP
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed and attend IEP meetings
- Assist the SLP in preparing and organizing therapy materials such as flashcards, worksheets, communication boards, etc.
- Guaranteed weekly hours with the same pay for indirect and direct services
