Title: Cook

Job Duties: The Cook supports all dietary/culinary requirements in service of the dietary needs of our clients in recovery. They will be expected to participate in all appropriate mandatory in-service classes. They will follow work schedule as assigned by supervisor and perform other position-appropriate tasks as assigned. The Cook shall fulfill these responsibilities in a timely manner as to meet the daily mealtime service requirements.

Schedule: Full-Time

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is desired.
• Previous experience as an institutional cook/chef is desired. Other institutional food service experience is helpful.
• Understand the basic principles of all common facility therapeutic and texture-modified diets and properly serve foods designated for these diets.
• Experience in supervising food service staff is desired.

About the Campus: Our services at Crestwood Fallbrook Healing Center help clients recover with enhanced resilience, accessing a wide range of wellness tools and staff support. The mission of this program is to restore a sense of hope, empowerment, community/natural support inclusion, realized potential in each client, and psychiatric stabilization.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Pay Range:$21.50—$21.50 USD
