We offer a mentorship program for new grads out of a DPT program that is aimed at helping you further your skills in a cohesive and cooperative work environment.

Additionally, we would like someone with strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with staff and our patients and overall enjoys working as part of a team.

You will be responsible for: Patient evaluation, explaining the treatment plan to your patient so they are aware of what is expected for a optimal outcome, and following the patients care until discharge.

Our documentation EMR is through WebPT.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions, helping them regain functionality, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base in physical therapy techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Expected Skills of a Physical Therapist.

  • Evaluating and assessing patients' physical conditions, including their strength, range of motion, and mobility to make a proper physical diagnosis.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans and setting achievable goals for patients.
  • Administering various therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
  • Using specialized equipment and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or heat therapy to aid in the rehabilitation process.
  • Educating patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Monitoring and documenting patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and other therapies, to coordinate patient care.
  • Adhering to legal and ethical guidelines in patient care, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy techniques.
  • Occasionally supervising and guiding physical therapy aides.

Responsibilities:

  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Interest in becoming a competent vestibular therapist with included direct mentorship.
  • Proven experience in evaluating and treating patients with diverse physical conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal function.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of physical therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
