Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and patient Algebra 2 Honors tutor to provide personalized academic support to high school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced algebraic concepts and be capable of breaking down challenging topics into manageable steps for students in an honors-level course.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to each student's needs
- Assist with homework, test preparation, and review of key concepts
- Explain complex topics, including polynomials, logarithmic and exponential functions, matrices, and quadratic equations
- Help students develop problem-solving strategies and critical thinking skills
- Track and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to promote understanding and growth
- Encourage confidence and a positive attitude toward learning

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Algebra 2 concepts, with experience in teaching or tutoring honors-level content
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
