Radiologic Technologist Overview:
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic X-ray exams using portable digital and computed radiography equipment, transport and set up necessary equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging for interpretation by a Radiologist.

Radiologic Technologist Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and process mobile X-rays using portable DR or CR radiography equipment, transmitting images to Radiologists.
  • Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at healthcare facilities and nursing homes.
  • Perform EKGs (as needed), transmitting results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
  • Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
  • Maintain efficient and professional communication with peers, management, dispatch, and clients.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned and ensure adherence to protocols and company policies.

Radiologic Technologist Physical Demands:

  • Ability to push/pull 50-100 lbs, with equipment weight varying based on facility conditions.
  • May lift or move equipment up to 50 lbs or more up to 24 times a day.

Radiologic Technologist Certification and Licensing Requirements:

  • ARRT certification required
  • Valid New Jersey State License (Limited licenses not accepted)
  • Valid driver’s license and in good standing
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (or exemption with proper documentation)
