Busser/Barback

Job Summary

Assist bartenders, servers, and host by maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure quick and friendly service to our guests.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Passion to deliver the best experience through attentive and friendly service.
• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Responsible for bus station cleanliness and stocking of service areas through the shift.
• Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever floor needs it or upon manger’s request.
• Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
• Ensures all food is properly garnished prior to running it out to a guest.
• Delivers food to tables and ensures guests have all they need.
• Busses and resets tables with a sense of urgency.
• Offers assistance to guests by clearing away dishes, glassware, and refilling beverages if needed.
• Cleans highchairs and boosters before and after use.
• Informs hot staff of tables status to ensure faster turn times and efficiency.
• Must be able to verbalize guests’ needs to other employees/manager.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain safety & cleanliness of workspace.
• Serve guests in friendly manner and encourage repeat patronage.

Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities

• Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
• Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and nights.
