Summary of Position: This position supports EmployShare's Workers' Compensation Department by handling Workers' Comp policy administration for client accounts.  Additionally, this position assists EmployShare's Benefits Team by performing critical activities related to insurance benefits for employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Benefits Team with critical departmental operations, which includes, but is not limited to the following:

    • Updating and maintaining the “Benefit Tracker Spreadsheet”, which serves to track benefits-related activities for new hires.
    • Sending benefit-related e-mails and forms to employees upon hire or in the case of a qualifying event.
    • Tracking employee responses to benefit-related e-mails and providing follow-up as necessary.
    • Compiling and saving benefits-related forms, documentation, and correspondence.
    • Completing internal forms and updating internal tracking spreadsheets.
    • Responsible for monitoring employee pay rate alerts, and recording pay changes when new alerts are received.
    • Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operations of the Benefits Department.
    • Responsible for the storage, use, and security of client and employee data in accordance with Company policy and applicable laws.
  • Handles Workers’ Compensation policy administration for client accounts.  This includes, but is not limited to the following:

    • Maintaining and updating information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into the system, tracking spreadsheets, etc.
    • Tracking of Invoices and other documentation.
    • Obtaining information from clients when necessary.
    • Policy document retention.
    • Scanning and Organizing Files.
    • Gathering required data and completing Workers’ Compensation audits for clients.
    • Conducting internal audits.
  • Provides excellent client care/service to ensure a positive experience. 
  • Completes special projects by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, and development and organizing information.

  • Interacts and supplies information to other departments within the organization on a regular basis.

  • Provides general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, the completion of forms, generating reports, processing confidential documents, electronic filing, and tracking deadlines.
