As a Lead Furniture Installer, you will lead on-site installations to ensure timely completion, high quality of service and cost effective management of dealer labor and installation resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of installers to execute furniture installations at client sites.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, elevations and product specifications.
  • Ensure that furniture is properly assembled, aligned, and installed according to client specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure precision and satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot any installation issues and provide effective solutions on-site.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are used properly.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Train and mentor junior installers, promoting a positive and productive team atmosphere.
  • Manage inventory of vehicle materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in furniture installation, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, furniture assembly, and installation techniques.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams, managing projects, and problem-solving on-site.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-end furniture or custom installations.
  • Familiarity with carpentry or construction work.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
