Job Title: SAP PP - PTM 

Location: Remote (USA)

Long term contract position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Capacity Planning & Scheduling:

Design and configure SAP PP solutions for capacity planning, ensuring efficient resource utilization and production schedules.

Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize capacity utilization.

Design and Implement advanced planning tools and techniques to enhance capacity planning accuracy and efficiency.

 

Product Allocation:

Configure and maintain product allocation processes within SAP to ensure optimal distribution of resources and materials.

Work closely with sales, distribution, especially in the area of Advanced ATP (aATP) teams to ensure alignment of product allocation plans with business objectives.

Project Implementation & Support:

Lead SAP PP module implementations, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales & Distribution, Materials Management) to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of SAP PP solutions.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant, with proven expertise in capacity planning, scheduling, and product allocation and Advanced ATP.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP configuration and customization.

Familiarity with integration points between SAP PP and other modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex production processes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

SAP PP certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Education:
