MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A FLEXO PRESS OPERATOR

As a Flexo Press Operator, the individual will play a critical role in the operation of a cutting-edge flexographic printing press. Responsibilities include setting up, adjusting, maintaining, and operating the new Mark Andy E5 series 10 color flexographic printing press with precision and expertise.

The operator will be at the helm of running the Mark Andy 13" flexographic press, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional print quality. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that values excellence and innovation in every aspect of its work.

WHAT MATTERS MOST

To excel as a Flexo Press Operator, candidates should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED along with basic computer skills to effectively operate machinery and input data. A solid background of 1-3 years in flexo printing is essential, demonstrating the ability to follow simple instructions accurately. The role requires the ability to interpret safety regulations, operating procedures, and maintenance guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Candidates must also demonstrate mechanical proficiency either through a mechanical test or previous experience, ensuring seamless equipment operation. Strong attendance records and the flexibility to work overtime when necessary are also key qualities for success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Minimum - high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills

  • At least 1-3 years of FLEXO PRINTING related experience with the ability to write and read simple instructions

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience

  • Must be able to maintain good attendance and be willing to work overtime as needed
