Job purpose

Under the direction of the Collection Manager, Must operate within the approved guidelines, policies and procedures of the FDCPA.

Duties and responsibilities

>     Collector must make minimum of 120 calls a day and answer any incoming collection calls.

>     Read and Respond to all emails received in a timely manner

 >    Set up payment arrangements according to collection guidelines    

 >    Follow up all broken arrangements by the customer

 >    Has to be able to work close with other coworkers

>     Must be able to stay for extended hours if asked

>     All collectors must have knowledge of the FDCPA

>     Collector has to be able to schedule and track their own arrangements made

>     Q&A out bound calls

Work Experience Requirements

  • Minimal of 1 year of collection or sales experience
  • Strong keyboard skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in a fast paced environment
  • Good active listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Sales experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and make effective use of resources

 

Education Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

Some college preferred
