About the role:

As an Indirect Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the registration and de-registration process with various state, local and foreign government agencies for sales tax, property tax, and VAT purposes. You will be responsible for researching and executing your findings to achieve the goals in an efficient and timely manner. You will also be involved in supporting tax audits and other issues as they arise.

This role is full time onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Deregistration/registration of Sales Tax and VAT accounts of the company.
  • Tax Audits - Assists with sales tax audit process, including preparing documentation required and identifying actions to resolve issues; product taxability verification and correction.
  • Tax Payments – Work with the Treasury to ensure correct and timely payments.
  • Tax notices - review incoming notices from tax agencies, confirm information, and propose adjustments/payments.
  • Product taxability – Work with the Tax Manager on customers' cases related to the product taxability.
  • Tax systems and platforms - support implementation efforts and process improvements initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales tax/VAT work experience.
  • The ability to conceptualize and manage multiple projects; adheres to deadlines.
  • Project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $29.50/hr to $34.50/hr
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
