Design Engineer – Trailer & Truck Body Industry

• Work on engineering projects for custom and stock trailer designs & truck bodies for customers across North America
• Communicate directly with the Sales during development and improvement of products.
• Work closely with Manufacturing to ensure product design will be implemented efficiently
• Perform engineering analysis on products
• Work with the team to brainstorm ideas for new products & ways to improve existing products
• Assist hands-on in the design and engineering of new and existing products

Pine Hill Manufacturing is looking for a Design Engineer to join our engineering team. Even during this challenging time, we have expansions underway to accommodate our steady growth

For over 24 years, Pine Hill Trailer has served the needs of haulers through custom trailer and truck body designs. We started with a special focus on the shed hauling industry, but have grown to provide trailer and truck body solutions for many different industries and consumers. Our Ideal Design Engineer

• Experienced: Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar experience. 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Design/Engineering is preferred, along with knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Skilled: Proficient in 3D design software – SolidWorks Experience is preferred. Experience with the design of Trailers or similar product. Epicor (ERP) experience preferred.
• Collaborative: You will work closely with other departments to share information, ideas, schedules, challenges, etc.
• Responsible: Ideal candidate is one who will take ownership of and pride in their work, diligent to go beyond the minimum asked of them.
• Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to do excellent work. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Down to Earth: We are a casual, family friendly work environment with many employees and customers coming from conservative Anabaptist communities. We strive for a clean-cut office atmosphere.
