Part Time Catering Banquet Manager and Maitre’d.

Weddings and Catered Events

We are currently seeking an experienced Banquet Manager who can bring their skills and knowledge to our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and overseeing various types of social and private events, as well as a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. Restaurant / Fast Food experience is not acceptable for this position. This role requires an individual with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to deliver excellent customer service to up to 400 guests in a catering and banquet environment. You will be the "face" of our event venue with all Brides, clients and hosts.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure flawless execution of events.

. Schedule staffing while keeping within established budgets and guideline· Hire/Train/Supervise staff to ensure proper execution of events and high guest satisfaction

· Maintain regular and ongoing communication with all waitstaff throughout each given function, giving clear direction and responsibilities

· Organize pre/post event meetings with waitstaff.

. Host Pre and Post event staff meetings for assignments, side work...

· Work with the team to ensure compliance with food handling, table setting, and uniform standards, delivering quality service to guests

· Prepare, execute, and properly close events and respective event spaces.

· Responsible for scheduling staff, building operations, ordering and inventories.

· Attend weekly BEO meetings with Operations, Kitchen, Exec. Mgt & Sales Departments.

Qualifications:

· The candidate must have verifiable work experience consisting of 3-5 years in a catering management position.

· Flexibility in schedule is a must, including the availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

· The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of guest service, banquets/catering, and excellent leadership skills.

· The candidate should have excellent personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills.

· The candidate should be a team player, working with guests and team members.

. The successful candidate will interact with clients and guests throughout the event to ensure satisfaction.

. BASE PAY PLUS WEEKLY COMMISSION AND PERFORMANCE BONUS.
