Great Work Employment is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to work with a great Manufacturing team in the Independence, Ohio area. This is a first shift opportunity, long term, offering competitive pay rates/incentives.

You will play a vital role in coordinating transportation activities, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You'll be responsible for working closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure timely deliveries and optimal service standards. Responsibilities

· Coordinate and oversee the daily transportation operations within the warehouse.

· Manage schedules and routes for drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

· Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to resolve any transportation issues.

· Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and inventory levels.

· Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

· Assist in the planning and execution of special projects or promotions related to transportation.

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints efficiently.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field preferred.

· Proven experience in warehouse operations or transportation coordination.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Proficient in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others.
