Floral Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Floral Designer to join our team and lead interactive floral arrangement workshops. In this role, you'll combine your artistic talent with teaching skills to create memorable experiences for our guests.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You'll inspire and guide participants through the art of floral design, teaching both fundamental techniques and creative expression in a fun, engaging environment. Our workshops cater to various skill levels, from beginners to intermediate designers.

Duties

• Design and lead hands-on floral arrangement workshops for groups of 10-30 participants
• Create sample arrangements and demonstrate design techniques
• Develop workshop curriculum and instructional materials
• Select and prepare materials for each class, ensuring quality and seasonal variety
• Guide participants through proper flower care, cutting techniques, and design principles
• Foster a welcoming, creative atmosphere that encourages learning and experimentation
• Manage workshop logistics including setup, cleanup, and materials inventory
• Document workshops through photos for social media and marketing purposes

Experience

• Experience in Floral Design
• Proven teaching or public speaking experience
• Strong knowledge of flower varieties, seasonality, and care requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and lead multiple workshops
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
• Availability for evening and weekend workshops
