Regional Account Executive

Summary: The Regional Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and managing key customer relationships for NCC within a defined territory. This role involves expanding the customer base, growing existing accounts, and meeting company sales objectives. The Regional Account Executive will collaborate with internal teams to deliver creative, customized solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic territory plan to achieve sales objectives and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Expand and maintain a strong customer base by working closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to identify new opportunities.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with key clients, fostering loyalty and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and pursue new market segments and recommend product lines to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Quality, Production, Customer Service) to ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular site visits to understand client challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, resolve customer issues, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

o Bachelor’s degree preferred.

o 2+ years’ experience in sales and account management.

o Experience with project management involving creative design and custom solutions.

o Up to 25% travel is required.

o Has excellent planning and critical thinking skills.

o Should have strong interpersonal skills and present professional image.

o Requires good written and oral communication skills.

o Must be mechanically inclined.

o Must be flexible, assertive and optimistic.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities:

o Establishes sales objectives by creating a territory plan and sale pipeline for assigned region in support of company objectives.

o Maintains and expands customer base by working with Vice President of Sales &Marketing.

o Builds positive relationships with key customers.

o Identifies new customer opportunities.

o Recommends product lines by identifying new market segments and surveying customer needs.

o Collaborates with other internal departments regarding quality, production, productivity, and customer service.

o Operates well within a team environment.

o Perform site visits to understand challenges and present new opportunities.

o Resolves problems and identifies trends.

o Performs other duties as assigned.

o Adheres to company regulations and embodies NCC’s Values.

 

Physical Activity for this position: Essential for job function requires the ability to (with or without reasonable accommodations):

o Balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and reaches to work overhead.

o Pushes and pulls materials, fingers and grasps parts and components.

o Tolerates loud noise.

o Sits and stands for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks.

o Operates a computer extensively daily. o Performs visual inspections.

o Requires visual acuity to access details (I.e., office equipment, email, invoices, etc.)

o Requires communication skills so ideas and instructions can be given clearly and/or quickly and understood.

o Requires the ability to distinguish between speech, machinery, and other sounds to understand instructions and/or directions.
