Job Overview

One Stick That’s It Lab is seeking a dedicated and punctual DOT Certified Specimen Collector to join our team. This critical role involves conducting accurate and timely specimen collections following strict DOT guidelines (49 CFR-Part 40). The position requires 24/7 on-call availability, covering both weekdays and weekends.
Compensation is $75-$100 per event/collection, ideal for individuals who are flexible and can respond quickly to collection requests at any time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections adhering to DOT guidelines (49 CFR-Part 40).
• Conduct random and emergency observed urine collections of same-sex clients when required.
• Manage drug screenings and Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT).
• Complete and ensure accuracy of Chain of Custody (COC) forms and Alcohol Testing Forms.
• Label specimens properly and ensure their secure transport to designated locations.
• Maintain accurate collection logs, certifications, and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients during collections.
• Communicate effectively with clients and report discrepancies to the appropriate authority.
• Maintain professional equipment, supplies, and appearance.
• Respond promptly to dispatch calls for collections, including after-hours and on-call scenarios.

Qualifications

• DOT Certification and BAT/Urine Collector Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and dependable, insured transportation.
• TWIC Card required (to access secure and restricted areas).
• Ability to work independently in a 24/7 on-call setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with access to a cell phone for texting and emailing.
• HIPAA compliance mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but is not required.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Job Type:

• Contract, On-Call

Compensation:

• $75-$100 per event

Schedule:

• 24/7 On-Call Availability (Weekdays and Weekends)
• On-site collections only
• Service area within a 30-mile radius
