Location: On-site in Franklinville, NJ

Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year

Position Overview:

The Business Unit Leader will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and overall profitability of a key segment of Byers Industrial Services. This role requires an individual with a strong business acumen, experience in the construction or industrial services sector, and a proven ability to lead teams to achieve both financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve financial targets and market growth.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the operational teams to drive project efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the business unit's P&L, ensuring budget goals are met and financial performance is optimized.
• Collaborate with senior management to align business unit activities with company objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Identify growth opportunities, including new market expansion and business development initiatives.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are consistently achieved.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee development and retention.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.
• Lead and mentor direct reports, ensuring clear communication of responsibilities, expectations, and performance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the construction or industrial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record of managing a business unit, including financial oversight and strategic planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing business strategies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports, project metrics, and industry trends.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
