Austin American Awning is a leading manufacturer of high-quality custom awnings for commercial and residential applications. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. Please note that the majority of our welding is aluminum. There will be am on site test where you will be asked weld some sample aluminum. 1x1x.062 , 2x2x.125 square tubing

.Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine operations and sequences
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using various tools and machines
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes
• Work under fab lead to produce products in a timely manner
• Clear communication with staff and fellow employees

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Must have aluminum mig welding experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload (Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods)
