CNC Machinist

Join our expanding 2nd Shift team As a CNC Machinist, you will produce high-quality, specialty machine components for TSI’s advanced drilling equipment. Responsibilities include operating and setting up CNC machines, reading blueprints, troubleshooting issues, and supporting R&D projects. You'll work closely with our engineering team to refine processes, uphold safety standards, and lead within your work cell.

• High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 months of relevant machining experience preferred
• Forklift operator certification preferred
• Proficiency in CNC machine operation with experience in setup and G&M code editing
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as MasterCam; multi-axis programming knowledge is a plus
• Skilled in reading blueprints, process sheets, and machine schematics to ensure precise machining
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with an understanding of metallurgy, tool selection, and machining strategy
• Experience working with a range of materials, including castings, forgings, and bar stock
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S and continuous improvement techniques
