Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

Facilitates cross cultural communication, relays concepts, diagnosis, and medical questions in a quick and accurate manner for non-English speaking patients of all ages in person, or via telephone. Provides language interpretation as Creole speaking patients interface with non-Creole speakers. Provides written translation services. Follows-up with patients which may include making phone calls, providing and receiving documentation. Adjusts workload to handle priority needs and requests. While in the office, receives and reviews incoming information (scanned documents, faxed documents, etc.) and provides such information to the applicable medical personnel.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

-High school diploma or GED required.

-Computer proficiency with outlook, word, excel required.

-Familiarity with scanner operation preferred.


Language Skills:

Fluent in two (2) languages (English/Creole)
