Job DescriptionJob Description

Hintz Giuffre CPAs is seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team on a seasonal, part-time basis beginning in December 2024 or January 2025. The majority of hours worked will be in January through April, with many opportunities for additional work the remainder of the year.

Job duties will include:

  • Management and review and/or preparation of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S and C-corps, and Not-for-Profit Organizations
  • Manage quarterly estimated tax projections and payment recommendations
  • Develop relationships with clients
  • Handle routine tax questions, research tax issues, and assist in tax audits and any tax notice resolutions
  • Recognize and inform senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients

Qualifications and Skills Desired:

  • 3-5 years public accounting tax experience and a CPA certificate, or working towards a CPA certificate
  • Developing understanding of research techniques and knowledge of tax code
  • High business acumen
  • Amiable communication style
  • Superb organizational skills and methods
  • Proactive and self-starter mindset
