RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SLP or SLP-ASSISTANT

Communication Essentials, LLC is a therapist-owned company that has built a reputation of excellence within the Houston area. We are seeking a creative and energetic SLP or SLP-Assistant to join our dynamic group of caring professionals for a hybrid caseload of school treatment and in-home speech therapy visits.

  • Options includes 3 to 5 days of school treatment within a local public school district and opportunities for day/pm home health visits in North/Northeast/East Houston.
  • School treatment days include a guaranteed 7.5 hours per day.
  • Also have options for school treatment or home health visits only on a full or part time basis.
  • SOAP notes for school placement take seconds to complete.
  • Home health patients have current authorization and are ready to be seen.
  • Home Health Sessions are 30 minutes long.
  • Home Health Session Notes done electronically via EMR with device provided.
  • Ability to create your own schedule.
  • English/Spanish skills a plus but not required.

Options also available for school only OR home health only on a full or part time basis. Day and afterschool patients available.

New graduates are also welcome to apply as we have SLPs available to assist with clinical hours completion.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SLP or SLP-ASSISTANT

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders or equivalent, Current Texas state license as a Speech Pathologist or Speech Pathologist-Assistant, Current Driver's License, Minimum of two professional references, Previous pediatric experience preferred, Reliable transportation, valid and current auto liability insurance, Flexibility is a must, English/Spanish skills are a plus.
