ProFusion Industries, a highly regarded provider of transit step treads and transit flooring, custom specialty film products and protective linings is seeking to fill the position of a Maintenance Supervisor at its Marietta, Ohio manufacturing site.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the training of Maintenance Technicians and ensuring the safe and efficient operations of assigned equipment and facilities. The goal of this position is to ensure that facilities and equipment are always in a good and safe operating condition, while improving OEE through improved machine reliability.

Job Duties:

  • Partners with Maintenance & Engineering Manager to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by recommending and leading improvement projects (renovations and upgrades) and maintenance work orders (permanent resolutions to equipment deficiencies).
  • Inspects facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Audits work performed by maintenance technicians, focusing on areas for improvement, coaching, and training.
  • Prepares weekly maintenance schedules and allocates work.
  • Supervises and trains maintenance technicians.
  • Supervises tradesmen during installations, repairs, or maintenance (electricians, plumbers, equipment vendors, etc.).
  • Inspects and maintains building systems (heating, ventilation, plumbing, etc.).
  • Contributes to the development of maintenance budget and ensures compliance.
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment using MaintainX (Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)).
  • Monitors and controls physical inventory of parts and supplies.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports on department performance using CMMS, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ensures adherence to and enforcement of quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Job Specifications and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; degree from a vocational school a plus.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMRP or HVAC certification) preferred.
  • Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role.
  • Technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as pipefitting, millwrights, general electrical and plumbing proficiency.
  • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (HVAC, electrical, etc.).
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling are essential.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Must have a keen eye with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and CMMS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
