Location: Henderson, NV
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shifts, Days (0630-1700)
Call: Weekdays (1700-0630) and Weekends (0630-0630), varies
We are seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a healthcare facility in Henderson, NV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the Cath Lab while demonstrating advanced technical proficiency in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures. This is a travel position, offering a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including setup, monitoring, and assisting the physician.
- Interpret EKGs and manage equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices.
- Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the Cath Lab and its equipment.
- Provide patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Take call on a rotating schedule, including some nights and weekends.
- 4x10-hour shifts (varied weekdays), 0630-1700
- On-call duties:
- Weekdays: 1700-0630
- Weekends: 0630-0630
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Certification by ARRT.
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience within the past 2 years.
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation, intra-aortic balloon pump, and Impella device.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification as RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).
- ARRT (R) certification.
